The Secret Staircase
A collaboration with the writer Michèle Roberts.

A commission for the Foundling Museum, London. The work was inspired by objects in the Foundling Museum collection, exploring mother/child separation.The text is a sequence of re-written nursery rhymes, the images a large, folded  woodcut and cut outs, the wood block taking the form of the original refectory table in the Museum.
